He is guiding for one of the lodges which sounds like an interesting job. This time of year I think that means he is helping people find the best spots to fish. He lives on the west side of the island in Larsen Bay. Much better weather over there than on this side usually.

Subject: Open House & Dinner
I need to hear back from those of you who plan to attend the dinner on Saturday evening the 29th so I can reserve tables for us. We will be ordering from the menu which offers everything from (very delicious) steak to sushi. I got to go there for dinner last week & ordered a steak. It was delicious as was the items everyone else ordered. they do a great job on everything.

Hello! Please mark your 2009 calendars for the last weekend in August for our 45 Class of 64 Reunion. It would be very helpful to me if you could let me know you got this either by okaying the "read receipt" or just send me a note.
The last week in August of next year (2009) August 28-31
Friday evening: An informal open house (possibly at Mary Jane's.....right on the beach & a beautiful home that has been on the Kodiak Garden Club's garden tours several times) Light Hors D'oeurves
Saturday evening: An informal dinner (perhaps at the Powerhouse..........it is still the most unique restaurant located right on the Channel)
Sunday afternoon: A picnic at the Buskin Beach House Rain or shine we can have a great time and BBQ either inside, at the picnic tables on the lawn or down on the beach
Monday evening: A potluck dinner at Elana's house in Bell's Flats Includes a tour of the gardens & samples of apples from the apple trees! :-)
You are invited to come for any or all days. We want to make sure that if any of you can stay 4 days you have something to come to each day if you like. The silvers should be in the creeks for you avid fishermen.
We hope everyone will be able to come. We had a wonderful time 4 yrs ago......we were all very pleasantly surprised that it was such a special time. If you have missed a few reunions or have never come, this is the year to make a change!
